About your midwife

Welcome to Midwife & Nurse Advice. Based in Sandymount, Dublin 4, I provide compassionate, expert care designed to reassure, empower, and guide new mothers and their families through every step of infant feeding and early parenthood.

A deep passion for women's health and early parenting

I am deeply passionate about women's health and helping mothers achieve their personal breastfeeding goals. The early days with a baby can feel overwhelming, which is why I love teaching practical newborn care skills, tips, and tricks to both mums and dads. My goal is simple: to be the calm, reassuring presence you need on your new parenting journey.

Comprehensive, whole-picture clinical expertise

With qualifications as an internationally recognised Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), registered midwife, registered general nurse, and nurse prescriber—alongside expertise in perinatal loss, bereavement, and cervical screening—I look at the whole picture. I support both the parents and baby together, from antenatal breastfeeding preparation to clinical feeding assessments and postnatal reassurance.

A calm space where you are truly heard

When you are exhausted or anxious, having someone listen without judgment makes all the difference. I take the time to help you relax in your own comfortable space, taking things gently and establishing trust before we begin any assessment. Remember: you are already doing an incredible job, and you never have to navigate this alone.

"Having a qualified midwife and lactation consultant visit us at home changed everything. She brought calm into our home, resolved our latch issues with gentle guidance, and gave us back our confidence."
